The Accident...
On the morning of Saturday, March 7th, 2009, Tim Dobbs fell from his attic through the ceiling and landed on his back on the hardwood floor below. He was taken by Careflight to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. He is currently being treated in the Trauma ICU. He sustained a severe skull fracture, bruised brain, and bruised lungs from this fall. Tim was placed in a medical induced coma to begin his treatment.

Friday, March 13th
The swelling on Tim's eyes are down even more. His brain pressure is around 28. The nurse told us that Tim is showing signs of Pneumonia. He is already on antibiotics, and they will be suctioning his airways. A technician visited Tim to test his brain for seizure activity. The result was positive. I'm not sure how I feel about the results, especially when the technician was surprised to see the patient was not awake when she arrived. I guess this test is not usually performed on someone in a coma. Tim's blood pressure has normalized, so he is off his blood pressure medicine.
