The Accident...

On the morning of Saturday, March 7th, 2009, Tim Dobbs fell from his attic through the ceiling and landed on his back on the hardwood floor below. He was taken by Careflight to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. He is currently being treated in the Trauma ICU. He sustained a severe skull fracture, bruised brain, and bruised lungs from this fall. Tim was placed in a medical induced coma to begin his treatment.

Wednesday, April 29th

I only spoke to Donna for a few minutes today before she had to take another call. So I don't have much information. Eating for Tim is still a huge issue. Donna was on her way to a special drug store to buy nutrition shakes that are so concentrated, that 2 or 3 sips equal the nutrition in 1 can of Ensure. It's a special drink for people that are extremely underweight or malnourished. Let's hope and pray this gets the ball rolling for Tim.
