The Accident...
On the morning of Saturday, March 7th, 2009, Tim Dobbs fell from his attic through the ceiling and landed on his back on the hardwood floor below. He was taken by Careflight to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. He is currently being treated in the Trauma ICU. He sustained a severe skull fracture, bruised brain, and bruised lungs from this fall. Tim was placed in a medical induced coma to begin his treatment.

Thursday, April 30th
Tim tried a new protein drink last night called "muscle milk." It's lactose free, so Tim's stomach seems to tolerate it better than the dairy based drinks. It is super high in protein and calories. Much more so than Ensure. He actually likes it. I do use the word "likes" very loosely. He is drinking about 3oz. at a time. Donna said his coloring seems better today. I guess he was starting to look washed out from being so weak. We are in the process of trying to find rehabilitation therapies for him. Since he does not have medical insurance it is harder to find a place to take him.
